Notebook is a better choice than desktop?

If the Internet made the world a global village, we could also say that notebooks made it a global colony. With desktops, things were a click away from us; notebook shorted the distance. Now we can lead the global settlement on the shoulder. High-end technology on the lap, perhaps we need anything in the world of convergence to conquer.

The great advantage of notebooks is that it gives us a sense of portability and mobility. Looking critically, portability is the onlyFunction has a notebooks and desktops then why do we choose to go for a notebook? Notebooks can we take your work home and you do not have to worry about all the wires, hardware and keep space requirements to a desktop too. It is also a question of choosing between work and home. You can from home when your baby is sick or the wife to work. A notebook is handy, then.

A notebook has to play a different role for different people, but there is aincredible feeling of freedom. Gone are the days when people walked around with pen and paper. Everything you need to do to fix them now, buy a notebook. You can quickly e-mail to a radio station that makes noise in the name of the music to write. You can sit at a café in your area and write a book or a letter. But if you can take your laptop wherever you carry, you must consider the weight of the machine. A notebook weighsbetween 5 to 10 pounds, an ultralight model is even easier. Whereas a desktop computer with a standalone CPU, monitor and keyboard, weighs about 70 kilograms. A notebook is becoming a much smaller space and is very comfortable.

Some of the most famous notebooks Sony Vaio, Apple MacBook, Dell Latitude, Toshiba, HP. There are also many affordable versions of notebooks from companies such as Fujitsu, Panasonic, IBM, Asus and markets etc.

Let's look at a scenario in which at aSchool students are sitting quietly at their desks and working on a class member, without a teacher who leads them. It's real, and it happens in many schools around us. Well, we do not mourn look at our very small implementation of pounds of luggage in the back. Notebook has it all, the assignment copies of their books.

When we see the productive side of the picture, we would immediately recognize that a notebook is always a wise choice for an employer. It makesto achieve its employees to greater productivity at work. It saves critical office space. At each crucial moment can be a notebook to help you at work to do, even if you are not physically present in the office. When traffic is high, and your boss expects the presentation in a conference room, a notebook comes to save. Do not give a desktop PC, all this freedom for a good worker.

A research says that employees with notebooks more than the companies with the workDesktop PCs. A notebook enables you to work from anywhere, while driving, from a beauty salon, or while waiting for someone in a mall. And the only disadvantage a notebook has is safety when you double against theft. It is easy to learn and kidnap for everyone on a busy trading center. To ensure the safety of your costly gadget that makes you feel the world lie at your feet and enjoy the power of technology.

How Laptops Have Changed the World

Another small revolution that has overtaken the world, is the introduction of laptops. A large computer manufacturer, Toshiba, Sony, in conjunction with computers, got together and decided to reduce the personal computer (PC), so the image smaller and portable. This meant that private use was no longer limited to just behind a desk. One could now seize their computers in a small bag and get away with it. The term "laptop" started from here, because this could be mini-computerbe used, apart from his desk by simply laid it on his lap. The laptop was then used to refer to smaller portable computers as opposed to "desktop", were the computers that sit regularly on the desks in many offices and homes.

Laptops are simply by compressing the usual components of PCs and large computer manufacturers like Dell, Toshiba, Sony, HP, Compaq and others, such as Acer and Lenovo have a large market share, if done by computer. Dell broughtthe concept of customizing computers for its customers. This was a welcome change, because it buys, equipped with the power to choose exactly what they wanted to be included in their new computer for the amount of memory, hard drive size, processor speed, and more. All this could be done right from the Dell company website. Other companies followed and the time the adjustment was here.

In the past, was able to adapt only to the extent of the components. This is still important because theComputer is about performance and the performance of all components. But today even has to adapt to the way the computer actually extended looks. We are talking about cosmetic appearance. While most computers come in black and gray, is the top computer have started to crank on laptops, which comes in various colors. One of the colors is pink and this is one of the most popular colors now free laptop in the market.

But today laptops are not the only domainof lone entrepreneurs, researchers are working on projects or lecturers and teachers. This is partly because they have more hip and also because of what used computers for themselves. Computers used to be created for the work tasks and therefore she is delighted with entrepreneurs and researchers, and others very popular. But today, laptop computers, is also known as "notebooks" have become multimedia centers, with more memory, more processor capacity and more storage space.

Lenovo Thinkpad SL500 reboot takes 5 minutes +

(Read the update below!) 2GB RAM, Vista Business C2D CPU T5670, 1.8 GHz notebook is on the "Max Performance" setting. HDD is always something to read or write ... I have an SDHC card to "boost" system with ReadyBoost, but I feel its slower than before:) The HDD's are half empty ... Next week have to buy 4 GB of RAM ... : (Why is it so slow? Update: I 2 * 2 GB RAM (Vista only sees 3 GB), but not much faster. Probably the 160 GB hard drive is the weakest link in the system. I also turnedfrom the aerodynamics, SuperFetch automatic defragmentation and ReadyBoost. Seems faster.
